Last Monday in Tagaytay. When I stepped out of the van that morning for Jon and Rica’s wedding, the fog was so thick, I could barely see two meters ahead of me. But here’s a little secret: I loved it. Jeff and I will always wish for sunshine, but if it doesn’t happen, we shrug it off and go with it. The way we see it, there’s no point wasting time lamenting over the weather and worrying our couples more. What matters is finding the beauty in what is right there in front of you. It’s part of the story now, and it changes it into something that’s yours and yours alone. So, what do you do in the middle of a fog? You dance. You find the magic in it. And you hold dear the knowledge that nobody will ever know this place like you do.

I always wanted to say what you guys wrote down but I don’t think I have enough experience to influence anyone. Good thing you guys wrote it.

Thanks, Jeff! (My) Jeff and I always say in Firestarter to just write what you have to say and put it out there. I did that when we only had a grand total of 7 readers, including us and my mom. Haha.

Beautiful as always :) I remember our wedding almost 5 years ago. It was as foggy as this and I was so worried that morning that most of our guests won’t be able to come because of the bad weather. But what the heck, even if it was just Cholo and I present, I really didn’t mind. What was important was we were getting married that day by hook or by crook! Thanks very much, Jeff & Lisa for capturing that special moment in our lives :)

Rose!!! I remember your wedding as if it were yesterday. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years! Thank you for trusting us when we were so new, and for remaining our friends after all these years. ♥
