This wedding was a dream to shoot. Designer Koo Gotauco created her own bridal robe and dresses, Jason’s tux, her parents and entourage’s suits and dresses. I have no idea how she managed to plan their wedding AND do all that, but she did so effortlessly. The details were divine, and really, Jason and Koo look stunning together.
Jeff and I are a bit more acquainted with Jason, which is almost funny because we work in the wedding industry with Koo and have shot her work as early as 5 years ago. But the moment we met her, I found her so beautiful and graceful, I wanted to call her a Jeff & Lisa bride already before they’ve even decided on anything. Haha. Luckily, I managed to contain myself, because there is a limit to how many embarrassing things I can do.
A few days prior to our meeting, while I was answering her inquiry over text, I accidentally sent her a photo of my cat and my stuffed bunny next to each other, which I intended to send to Jeff because I found it particularly amusing. I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or cry. Thankfully, she found it cute and we still ended up shooting their wedding, because I am seriously in love with this one.
The days leading to it, I remember Jason said that he just wanted everyone to have fun on their wedding day. I could tell you how much fun was had, but it’s better if you see it for yourself. Wishing you all this much joy.
