Benny & Noey’s Wedding

“A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.”
— Annie Leibovitz

From the very beginning, Jeff and I have always felt this to be true. It really is about finding things about our couples to fall in love with. This was easy with Benny and Noey. They’re chill and laid-back, and so much fun to shoot. We shot their Ting Hun last year, too. When Noey laughs, it’s like sunshine. It fills the room and makes you feel so good that you kinda just want to hang around her a little bit longer. Sometimes, you also fall in love with the entire family. They’re so warm and welcoming, and the laughter is infectious.

It’s no secret that it’s always the father of the bride’s reaction that gets to me. There is just something about that moment when the first man of her life gives the bride away. And the way he looked at her throughout the entire day had me all weepy. Don’t even get me started on his speech at the reception, which had everyone in tears.

There are many weddings from this wedding season that I’m dying to share, and I hope to make my way through them soon. From two weeks ago, our first blog post this 2018, here’s Benny and Noey’s wedding.

Bridal preps and reception venue: Edsa Shangri-La | Church: Mary the Queen Parish | Videographer: Notion in Motion | Hair and makeup artist: Precious Medina | Bridal gown: Frankie de Leon | Event stylist: Gina Galang of Royal Flower Shoppe | Emcee: Eri Neeman | Coordinator: Phyllis Lim | Cake: Penk Ching

Dearest dearest Lisa and Jeff (Lisa needs to be first, too!)
Thank you ever so much for the wonderful job capturing our precious moments of euphoria, nostalgia, laughter and tears. And to have this beautifully written blog?? What joy! You have just sealed your positions are part of our ever-growing extended family! Would that all suppliers, not just photographers, be just like you. We sincerely love you both and look forward to inviting you to be with us again in some future occasion. Maybe our 35th anniversary come 2020 or sooner! Oh, and by the way, it’s not fair that Noey’s dad got to hide his tears behind his glasses….
All the best to you guys!!

    1. Mrs. Keng, you continue to make my days and weeks!!! Hahaha. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. I consider it a great treat just to meet your family, even more to document Noey’s wedding. If Jeff and I are half as happy as you and Mr. Keng are when our son is Noey’s age, we would consider ourselves lucky. You are #marriagegoals and #parentinggoals. I knew it! I think that was around the time he kissed your cheek. There were at least 4 cameras pointed at you guys then, between both photo and video. Those are very good glasses. Lol. Much love to you all! ♥

  2. Omg, thank you for being your goals but hopefully it’s #coupleslaughter goals hahaha!

P.S. It’s Achie Wendy to you guys please!

    1. That, too! Got it, Achie Wendy! :)

    Hi Lisa and tukayo,

I just love all your photos!! Each photo had a story to tell and I can practically feel the emotions behind it.
My favorite is the one with Noey standing at the church door while it started to open….. I felt my self transported back to when I first met her thru the glass panel of the hospital nursery…then going thru her childhood, those teenage years and back to where we were standing and waiting to escort her to the lucky man…… it was a time warp!!! I felt awe, joy and pride. I will never forget that feeling ever and thanks so much for capturing this moment!!
    Great job guys!!
