This has to be one of the most beautiful weddings we’ve covered to date. Everything from Oliver and Claudine’s warm and sunny dispositions down to the details styled to absolute perfection by Badang Rueda of Victorian Blooms were inspiring. Claudine is, hands down, one of our sweetest brides ever. She booked us early, and the trust was implicit from the very beginning. (When you’re as new to the business as we were back when she booked us, that means the world. Seriously.) When she smiles, the entire room just lights up with her. Her gown arrived late but she remained the epitome of cool, calm, and collected, and I loved her even more for that.
I adored so many things about this wedding. I got to meet Badang whom I just love, love, love to pieces for all the yummy details. The light and the weather at Mimosa, Clark was to die for, and the vibe of the day was earthy and organic. The way Oliver and Claudine looked at each other made me want to walk to the other side of the altar to my own husband just to tell him that I love him.
Oliver and Claudine, thank you for letting me and Jeff witness and document your union. It’s truly been an honor. There’s this shot after your first kiss wherein Claudine tilts her head back with a smile and a look that can only be described as sheer bliss that reminds us so wonderfully why we do what we do. We’re so happy for you two, and can’t wait to see all the good things the future holds for you!
