John and Fria met at work. Their workstations happened to be next to each other. During our shoot, John laughingly recalled how Fria used to ignore him spare for the occasional pointed stare at the clutter on his desk. John and Fria would eventually find common ground in music. They played in a band for a work function, and somewhere along the jam sessions and Fria missing John and his messy desk (sorry, John, the bride is always right) when he left the company, they fell in love.
Lisa and I had an awesome time with them that afternoon. The conversation was easy, and we were in great company. They were fresh from their Discovery Weekend when we shot this. We hear stories about some couples here and there breaking up after DW which is quite unfortunate, but if all couples emerging from DW are as more in love than ever as these two are, it should be mandatory. When you see them together, you can’t possibly miss it.
