Jason and Stef would have been our Ondoy story. Their Tagaytay engagement shoot was scheduled for the day Ondoy hit Metro Manila full force. Jeff and I woke up to a text from Jason asking if we could postpone the shoot because of the typhoon. I was half-awake and confused. It was drizzling outside our window, but that was it. I remember asking Jeff, “What typhoon?” But I said sure, we can postpone. I drank my morning coffee, read the news, and approximately an hour later, I began to realize just how lucky we were that they thought of postponing as we wouldn’t have done so ourselves, and we’d all have been stuck there. It was zero visibility in Tagaytay that day. No electricity either.
This shoot happened a couple of weeks later, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. The skies couldn’t have been more blue, the light couldn’t have been more delicious. Yes, the light was delicious. The way it streamed through the trees and danced on the bridge made me want to just stay there and watch it till the sun came down. I took the picture below with my iPhone while Jason and Stef were dressing up. They also brought the vintage bicycle I posted here which I adored.

We had an amazing time that afternoon. Stef was a bit shy and reserved at first, but Jason brought out those gorgeous dimples and that sparkle in her eyes that I just love. They brought tons of gorgeous clothes and beautiful things which bowled us over completely. Given what we worked with on their shoot, Jeff said it’s likely I may pass out with excitement over their wedding details this March. Haha. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that. But yes, I’m definitely excited. Hope you guys enjoy these photos as much as we did taking them.
