Schedule Updates and Rabbit Shenanigans

December 2009 is officially fully booked. The rest of the year isn’t as busy though so chances are we’re still available for your wedding date. We didn’t use to accept bookings for weddings that are more than 16 months away, but the entire year of 2010 is now open for bookings.

Jeff and I were talking to two Singapore-based couples last month about having their engagement shoots there in September but since September is F1 month in SG, we’ve all decided to move it up to June. Due to a schedule conflict with one of our couples, we’re sticking to our original schedule in September. We’ll be in Singapore this September 1-5. Shoot us an email if you’re interested. We have two slots one slot available.

We’re really psyched about Singapore because it’s our first shoot out of the country. We don’t intend on doing this often because we’re going to miss Marbles too much if we did, but it’ll be something nice and different every now and then.

Speaking of Marbles, the other day, he let me bubble kiss his head and belly repeatedly without acting like a teenager being embarrassed by his mother’s affections (which is usually the case).

Marbles

Last night while we were sleeping, he projectile peed out of the corner of his cage. To make up for it, he flipped his litter box on its side so the litter would pour out and cover his pee. Thanks a lot, furrybutt.

Totally unrelated photos but I couldn’t help myself. Someday I won’t be able to resist the urge to blog about those turtles. I apologize in advance, and yes, I’m a little nuts that way. Those were taken during Ferdz and Yayie’s engagement shoot.

We’ve been getting more inquiries for December 2009 than any other month. As we all know, it’s the busiest month in the Philippine wedding industry. These are the only dates left in December 2009 that are still available:

December 1-5: 2 slots available Booked!
December 21-23: 1 slot available Booked!
December 26: 1 slot available Booked!

We don’t book more than two weddings in succession as much as possible, hence the limited availability. We want to be able to relish each wedding and still have enough time left to dedicate to our other non-December clients.

The rest of the year is still pretty open particularly July and September. August only has two slots left, same with November. For inquiries on date availability, the best and fastest way to reach us is by text at 0906.4742082. You can also email us at info [at] jeffandlisaphotography.com.

Coffee Table Book Now Available for Viewing!

Fantastic day today. Ordered pizza for brunch (I suppose this is one of the perks of being a grown up. Don’t tell my dad. Haha.), spoke with awesome brides, and received our sample coffee table book from the U.S. Our new printer is more amazing than I know how to put into words.

The coffee table book is GORGEOUS. It has far, faaar exceeded our expectations and coming from a self-confessed obsessive-compulsive (i.e. me), that says tons about the quality of the work. I actually want one for our own 2006 wedding. (Take a hint, Jeff! xoxo, L.) I’ll have to make sure we keep it far beyond Marbles‘ reach. He loves fancy book paper as much as his mother but tends to show it in very strange ways.

I wanted to post pictures of it here but it completely takes away from the experience of actually seeing it in person. There’s nothing like seeing the prints and touching the pages for yourself. I kinda want to put it underneath my pillow tonight… osmose all the pretty in my sleep.

Grab Your Copy of Bride’s Yellow Pages

My 2005 copy sits ratty on the bookshelf and Jeff insists I really should throw it out but I just can’t bring myself to. I’ve grown rather attached to it. Found most of our suppliers for our 2006 wedding on it, especially the ones that saved me from bridal apocalyptic madness.

Anyway, the latest issue is out now. Weddings@Work is giving out free copies to all brides and grooms at the bridal fair this weekend so if you haven’t yet today, go tomorrow. It’s at the Rockwell Tent. In addition to the BYP being indispensable to wedding planning, we have a full-page ad, and you can find it on p.143. Or you know, just look below.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend! We’re going to. It’s Zone and Edz’ engagement shoot tomorrow!
